Troubleshooting Guide
Device Not Turning On
Check that the battery has sufficient charge. Press the power button five times quickly to turn the device on. If it remains unresponsive, connect it to the USB-C charger.
Weak or No Vapour
Check that the pod is inserted correctly and contains enough e-liquid. Make sure the coil is properly saturated and the airflow is not blocked.
Burnt or Dry Taste
A burnt taste can occur when the pod is dry or the coil has not been primed properly. Refill the pod and wait around 5–10 minutes before vaping. Replace the pod if the burnt taste continues.
E-Liquid Leaking
Avoid overfilling the pod and make sure the filling area is closed securely. Check that the pod is seated correctly and wipe away any excess e-liquid before use.
Gurgling or Spitting
Excess e-liquid around the coil or airflow path can cause gurgling or spitting. Remove the pod, wipe away excess liquid and ensure it has not been overfilled.
Poor or Weak Flavour
Check the e-liquid level and pod condition. If the flavour has noticeably reduced after regular use, the mesh pod may need replacing.
Pod Not Detected
Remove the pod and check that the metal contacts on both the pod and device are clean and dry. Reinsert the pod firmly. If the issue continues, try a new compatible XROS pod.
Airflow Feels Too Tight or Loose
Adjust the airflow slider on the device until you find your preferred draw. Make sure the airflow opening is free from e-liquid or debris.
Device Stops Firing
The XROS 4 Nano has an 8-second overtime protection feature. If the device stops during a long draw, release the button and take shorter puffs.
Charging Problems
Check that the USB-C cable is securely connected and that the charging port is clean and dry. The device supports Type-C 2A charging.
Low Resistance or Short Circuit Warning
If the device stops firing and indicates a resistance or short-circuit issue, remove the pod and check the pod contacts and coil. Clean any e-liquid residue and reinstall the pod. If the warning continues, replace the pod.
Device Gets Too Hot
Stop using the device and allow it to cool down. Avoid continued use if it becomes unusually hot, and check the pod and device for visible damage before using it again.
