Troubleshooting Guide
Device Not Turning On
Check that the built-in battery has enough charge and that the device is switched on. If it does not respond, connect it to a suitable Type-C charger and try again.
Weak or No Vapour
Check that the pod is securely connected, the e-liquid level is sufficient and the coil is installed correctly. Make sure the wattage is suitable for the installed GTX coil.
Burnt or Dry Taste
A burnt taste can occur when the coil is dry or the wattage is too high. Refill the pod and allow a new coil to soak for 5–10 minutes before vaping. Reduce the wattage if necessary.
E-Liquid Leaking
Make sure the top-fill port is closed securely and avoid overfilling the pod. Check that the coil is fitted correctly and inspect the pod for damage. Wipe away any excess e-liquid before use.
Gurgling or Spitting
Excess e-liquid around the coil or airflow path can cause gurgling or spitting. Remove the pod, clean away excess liquid and ensure it has not been overfilled.
Poor or Weak Flavour
Check the e-liquid level and coil condition. If the flavour has become noticeably weaker or tastes burnt, the GTX coil may need replacing.
Incorrect Wattage
Using an unsuitable wattage can affect flavour, vapour production and coil life. Follow the recommended range for your GTX coil, such as 45–60W for 0.2Ω, 26–32W for 0.4Ω and 12–16W for 0.8Ω coils.
Pod Not Detected
Remove the pod and check that the pod connection and device contacts are clean and dry. Reinsert the magnetic pod firmly and make sure the coil is properly installed.
Airflow Feels Too Tight or Loose
Adjust the top airflow control until you find a comfortable draw. The Armour G features adjustable top airflow for controlling the inhale and vapour production.
Device Stops Firing
Check that the pod and coil are properly connected and that the device is not showing a protection warning. If the problem continues, remove and reinstall the pod or replace the coil if necessary.
Charging Problems
Check that the Type-C cable is connected securely and that the charging port is clean and dry. The Armour G uses Type-C charging with a 5V/2A charging current.
Device Gets Too Hot
Stop vaping and allow the device to cool if it becomes unusually hot. Avoid using it if excessive heat continues, and check the pod and coil for any signs of damage before further use.
