Coil Variants Explained

0.8 Ohm LP1 Mesh Coil
This mesh variant features a lattice build that heats e-liquid rapidly and evenly, resulting in improved flavour production. It offers a warmer vape and a more intense taste experience compared to standard coils, making it ideal for vapers who prioritise flavour complexity.

0.9 Ohm LP1 Mesh Coil
Similar to the 0.8 Ohm version, this mesh coil utilises a specialised lattice structure for fast heating and enhanced flavour. It provides a slightly tighter draw and is perfectly suited for high-PG or 50/50 e-liquids, delivering a smooth and consistent MTL vape.

1.2 Ohm LP1 Mesh Coil
This higher-resistance mesh coil is designed for those who prefer a cooler vape with maximum discretion. It produces the most discreet amount of vapour in the range and delivers a draw that feels closest to a traditional cigarette, making it an excellent choice for recent ex-smokers.

0.8 Ohm LP1 Standard Coil
Unlike the mesh versions, this standard coil produces a more mellow flavour profile. It is an excellent choice for vapers who find mesh coils too intense or who prefer a smoother, less aggressive taste while still enjoying the benefits of the LP1 leak-proof design.

How to Use and Compatibility

These coils are designed for easy installation. Simply remove the old coil from your pod, prime the new coil by adding a few drops of e-liquid directly onto the cotton, and insert it into the pod. Fill the pod with your chosen e-liquid and allow it to stand for 5–10 minutes before vaping to ensure the cotton is fully saturated.

For optimal performance, we highly recommend using 50/50 or high PG e-liquids with these coils. High VG e-liquids (70%+) may not wick efficiently in these MTL coils and could lead to dry hits.

When to Replace Your Coil

To maintain optimal flavour and vapour production, you should replace your Smok LP1 coil regularly. As a general rule, a coil will last between 1 to 2 weeks, depending on usage and the sweetness of your e-liquid. You should replace the coil immediately if you notice:

• A burnt or dry taste

• A significant reduction in vapour production

• Leaking from the pod (though the triple seal usually prevents this)

• A change in the flavour of your e-liquid
