How to Use

1. Battery Installation: Remove the magnetic battery door on the side of the mod. Insert two high-amp 18650 batteries following the polarity markings (+ and -). Replace the door securely.

2. Coil Priming: Take the TPP DM2 or DM3 coil. Apply 4-5 drops of e-liquid directly into the inner mesh and cotton wicking ports. Insert the coil into the base of the Maat tank and screw it in firmly.

3. Filling the Tank: Locate the top cap. Slide it back (away from the drip tip) to reveal the fill port. Fill with your preferred eJuice, avoiding the central chimney. Slide the cap closed until you hear a click.

4. Priming Time: Allow the filled tank to sit for 5-10 minutes. This saturates the cotton fully and prevents dry hits.

5. Attachment: Screw the filled Maat tank onto the Argus GT II mod via the 510 thread. Do not overtighten.

6. Powering On: Press the fire button five times rapidly. The TFT screen will illuminate.

7. Mode Selection: Press the fire button three times to cycle through modes (Smart, RBA, TC). For the included coils, Smart Mode is recommended.

8. Setting Wattage: Use the ‘+’ and ‘-‘ buttons to adjust wattage. For the 0.2ohm coil, start at 45W. For the 0.15ohm coil, start at 60W.

9. Adjusting Airflow: Rotate the metal ring at the base of the tank to open or close the airflow slots. Fully open for maximum clouds.

10. Vaping: Press and hold the large fire button while inhaling. Release to stop.

Q1: Is the Argus GT II really waterproof? Can I vape it in the shower?
A1: Yes, the IP68 rating means it is waterproof to 1.5 metres for 30 minutes. However, while it can survive submersion, we do not recommend actively vaping it underwater or in a direct stream of soapy water, as the tank's airflow is not sealed. It is designed for accidental spills and rain, not as a diving device.

Q2: Do I need to buy batteries separately at Select Vape Club?
A2: Yes, the Argus GT II requires two 18650 batteries, which are sold separately due to shipping regulations. We recommend purchasing a matched pair of high-drain batteries (e.g., Molicel P28A) from our battery section for optimal performance at 200W.

Q3: How long do the TPP coils last?

Q4: The tank is only 2ml. Can I get a larger glass?
A4: The 2ml capacity is the TPD-compliant version. Depending on your region, larger replacement glass tubes (4.5ml or 5.5ml) are available for purchase separately from Select Vape Club. Ensure you buy the correct glass for the Maat tank.

Q5: What is the difference between Smart Mode and RBA Mode?
A5: Smart Mode automatically reads the resistance of your coil and locks the wattage to a safe recommended range, preventing you from accidentally burning the coil. RBA Mode (Rebuildable Atomiser) removes this restriction, allowing you to use any wattage between 5-200W, ideal for advanced users building their own coils.

Q6: Can I use nicotine salts in the Argus GT II with the included coils?
A6: No. The 0.2ohm and 0.15ohm coils are designed for sub-ohm vaping with low-nicotine (0-6mg) freebase e-liquid. Using high-strength nicotine salts with these coils will result in nicotine sickness. For salts, use a high-resistance MTL tank or coil (above 1.0ohm) on this mod.

Q7: How do I lock the adjustment buttons to prevent pocket changing?
A7: Press the ‘+’ and ‘-‘ buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds. A padlock icon will appear on the screen. The fire button will still function. Repeat the process to unlock.
