Troubleshooting Guide
Device Not Turning On
Check that the battery has sufficient charge and press the fire button five times quickly to switch the device on. If it remains unresponsive, try charging it with the Type-C cable.
Weak or No Vapour
Check that the pod is securely fitted and contains enough e-liquid. Make sure the coil is installed correctly and the wattage is suitable for the installed GTX coil.
Burnt or Dry Taste
A burnt taste can occur when the coil is dry or the wattage is too high. Fill the pod and allow the e-liquid to soak into a new coil for around 5 minutes before vaping.
E-Liquid Leaking
Check that the pod is filled correctly and the silicone filling plug is securely closed. Inspect the coil and pod for damage, and wipe away any excess e-liquid before use.
Gurgling or Spitting
Excess e-liquid around the coil or airflow path can cause gurgling or spitting. Remove the pod, clean away excess liquid and ensure it is not overfilled.
Poor or Weak Flavour
Check the e-liquid level and coil condition. If the flavour has become noticeably weaker, the GTX coil may need replacing. The kit uses replaceable GTX coils.
Pod Not Detected
Remove the pod and check that the pod and device contacts are clean and dry. Reinsert the pod firmly and make sure the coil is properly installed.
Wattage Feels Too High or Low
Use Smart Mode to automatically recognise the coil and recommend an appropriate wattage. You can also adjust the wattage manually according to the installed GTX coil.
Airflow Feels Too Tight or Loose
Adjust the airflow slider on the device to find your preferred draw. Opening the airflow provides a looser draw, while closing it creates a tighter inhale.
Device Stops Firing
The Luxe XR Max has a 10-second vaping safety cut-off. If the device stops after a long draw, release the fire button and allow it to reset before taking another shorter puff.
Charging Problems
Check that the Type-C cable is securely connected and the charging port is clean and dry. The device supports Type-C charging at 5V/2A.
Error or Protection Message
If the device detects low resistance, a short circuit or no connected coil, it can stop output for protection. Check the coil and pod connection, then replace the coil if necessary.
